Training

Wednesdays Childwall Sports College, Childwall School, Fiveways,

WOOLTON WOLVES is in its second season of playing regular football,

though some of the 13-strong squad have been attending Saturday

morning training since the age of 5. The highlights of our first season

were a 16-match unbeaten run from September to March and summer

tournament victories in Derbyshire and at the IM Marsh event

where the boys kept 8 clean sheets en route to glory !

2008-09 has proved tougher because of league reorganisation but

the more competitive matches have helped improve the boys’ skill levels

quite significantly and we view the remainder of the season and the

summer tournaments with great optimism.
