The club is holding the tenth Annual Woolton Tournament across the Bank Holiday Weekend of Saturday 2nd, Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June 2012. The tournament is named The Liam Costello Woolton Tournament as a permanent memorial to Liam, a club member who died tragically in 2007.

Saturday 2nd June 2012 Morning: Under 7 Afternoon: Under 10
Sunday 3rd June 2012 Morning: Under 9 Afternoon: Under 8
Monday 4th June 2012 Morning: Under 6 and Under 12 Afternoon: Under 11

 

In the Under 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 competitions, each team will comprise seven players and four substitutes (maximum eleven per squad). In the Under 11 and 12 competitions each team will comprise six players and four substitutes (maximum ten per squad).

Age groups for season 2011/2012 will apply.

Entry forms should be returned along with payment as soon as possible. Spaces are limited and entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Applications received before the end of January 2012 will receive £10 discount per team.

Each year we are let down by the non-appearance of teams on the day of their competition. This is unfair to the other competitors and we would ask that you make sure that you will be able to fulfil your obligation. This is a Bank Holiday weekend. Please do not enter this tournament if you have already entered another one.

the oliver king trophy - 11 a side u13 & U14 invitational tournaments

In addition to the annual mini soccer tournament over the June Bank Holiday Weekend 2012 will see the U13 & U14 11 a side competition continue for a third year. The tournament will take place on Saturday & Sunday 2 & 3 June for the U13's and Sunday & Monday 3 & 4 June for the U14's. The tournament will be open to teams from around the country, and internationally, on an invitational basis and is expected to be an enjoyable and quality competition. The tournament fee will be £60 per team and applications and expressions of interest should be registered with David Woods who can be contacted by phone or email (see below for details). We look forward to hearing from interested teams.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy what Liverpool has to offer and join us at our friendly well organised tournament. We are hoping to have some great teams from the local area and further away including teams from abroad.
